The hotel is situated right next to the central train station, providing easy access to buses and trains. Guests can explore the city conveniently, thanks to the many restaurants found nearby. the rooms are spacious, and the private bathrooms are clean and well-stocked.
Although the location is great, the atmosphere inside the hotel is quite dated.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, combining the comfort of a modern hotel with the traditional charm of a ryokan. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to Keihan-Shichijo station for exploring Gion and walking distance to the Nishi market. The staff are attentive and provide good service, even with limited English.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory and met our expectations.

A perfect family-friendly ryokan. Great value for money. Huge rooms and toilets. Convenient location near Kyoto Station. Plenty of space for kids to play. Close to matcha cafe and halal ramen restaurant. Nice and accommodating staff. Delicious kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast. Enjoyable public bath experience.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Great Christmas decorations and festive atmosphere in the lobby. Large Japanese-style room with comfortable futon mattresses and traditional decor, which provided a unique experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to get around the city.
The staff's limited English made it challenging to communicate and get help with local recommendations. The breakfast wasn't included and was quite expensive, though there were plenty of nearby dining options. while the hotel had its charms, the language barrier and extra expenses made it a less enjoyable stay than we had hoped.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Its location near the central station made our transportation very convenient. The spacious room was typically Japanese with a separation between toilet, shower, and sink. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating to all our needs. The public bath experience was both enjoyable and unique, and the yukata we received was a nice touch. We also loved the fresh and delicious food served during both kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast.
Nothing, all great.

Great location, close to the train station and many conveniences around. Nice traditional Japanese room with tatamis and comfortable bedding. There is a public bath in the basement which was a nice experience.
The service was not very friendly nor helpful. There is a curfew which takes away the freedom to explore the city.
